By creating an account or using Respawn, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Respawn, operated at respawnapp.uk and through our desktop application. By accessing or using Respawn, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Respawn.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Respawn. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement. Users under 18 should have parental or guardian permission.

3. Your Account

When you create an account, you are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials secure and confidential
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Providing accurate information in your profile
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account

You may not create multiple accounts to evade a ban or circumvent restrictions.

4. Community Rules

Respawn is a community for gamers. To keep it enjoyable for everyone, the following are strictly prohibited:

• Harassment, bullying, or threatening other users
• Hate speech, discrimination, or content targeting individuals based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or disability
• Sharing explicit, sexual, or adult content
• Spamming, flooding chats, or sending unsolicited messages
• Sharing personal information of others without their consent
• Impersonating other users, public figures, or Respawn staff
• Promoting cheating, hacking, or exploits in games
• Any illegal activity or content
• Advertising or promoting other services without permission

5. Content You Post

You retain ownership of content you post on Respawn. By posting content, you grant Respawn a licence to store, display, and transmit that content to provide the service. You are solely responsible for the content you post.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms without notice.

6. Enforcement and Bans

We take community safety seriously. Violations of these Terms may result in:

• A warning
• Temporary suspension of your account
• Permanent ban from Respawn

We reserve the right to ban any account at our discretion if we believe it poses a risk to the community. Ban decisions can be appealed by contacting support@respawnapp.uk.

7. Ren AI Assistant

Respawn includes an AI assistant called Ren, powered by Google Gemini. Ren is provided for informational and entertainment purposes. We are not responsible for the accuracy of Ren's responses. Do not rely on Ren for important decisions.

8. Availability and Changes

We aim to keep Respawn available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We will aim to provide reasonable notice for significant changes.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Respawn is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be error-free, secure, or meet your specific requirements.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Respawn and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the past 12 months (if any).

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the app. Your continued use of Respawn after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
